Abdulaziz Al-Asaker, a distinguished alumnus of the Misk 2030 leader programs with over 21 years of experience across diverse industries, currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at Riyadh Airports Company (RAC), the operator of King Khalid International Airport. He began his career in 2002 and steadily advanced through various roles. He served as Marketing Loyalty Programs Manager at Mobily, Head of Loyalty Program and Head of Segmentation at Saudi Investment Bank, and Airports Product Director at Riyadh Airports Company. In 2021, he was appointed Acting VP of SA Commercial Group, culminating in his role as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in 2022.

A strategic thinker and accomplished leader, Abdulaziz has a proven track record in driving commercial growth, optimizing revenue streams, and ensuring profit sustainability for large-scale projects. Mohammad Taher, widely known as 'The Airport Guy', is an aerospace engineering graduate, turned content creator and educator. While both excelling in his engineering career, becoming the aerodrome systems specialist for the biggest and most complex aerodrome in the UK, he has also built a thriving online community of over half a million people to empower individuals, particularly from underrepresented backgrounds, to explore careers in aviation. The impact he has had on the aviation sector has been recognised by the UK government who recently announced him as an Aviation Ambassador for the Department for Transport, as well as being named one of the top 50 most influential Muslims in Europe.

Sarah Al Wasaibei is an aviation professional with over 15 years of industry experience. She is the Marketing Manager at Gulf Air, overseeing all the airline’s marketing projects and major sponsorships.

Al Wasaibei obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Melbourne in Australia with a double major in Media & Communication and Gender Studies. She holds a Master’s degree in Air Transport Management from City University in London. Al Wasaibei is also a recent graduate of the Royal Jordanian Air Academy where she obtained her Air Transport Pilot License.

Hesham Saeed is a seasoned professional with over 16 years of experience in the Hajj and aviation industry. He is currently the Vice President of Operations at the Ports Projects Management & Development Company, where he is responsible for the overall operations of the Hajj Terminal at King Abdulaziz International Airport.

Hesham has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from King Abdulaziz University. He is also a certified Professional Industrial Engineer from the Saudi Council of Engineers and a certified ISO 9001: 2015 Lead Internal Auditor.

In his previous role as the Assistant Deputy Minister of Hajj & Umrah Services at the Ministry of Hajj & Umrah, he was responsible for a wide range of activities, including:

• Developing and implementing new policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Hajj and Umrah sector

Michael White is the Chief Commercial Officer at Red Sea International Airport (RSI), the primary gateway to the Red Sea and AMAALA destinations. Michael leads the commercial function for Red Sea International Airport (RSI), a 2 million passenger capacity airport that is committed to providing the qualities of a five-star hospitality experience, ensuring a stress-free, seamless, and sustainable airport journey for all guests.

He and his team are responsible for RSI’s air service development, commercial contracts, procurement, and marketing. Michael has over 11 years of experience in aviation. He has procured and contracted extensively with a wide variety of private international companies, as well as Saudi government entities. Before joining Nesma, Hikmat held several leadership positions in the contracting industry in Saudi Arabia, Lebanon & Qatar. He successfully managed and completed various large-scale urban infrastructure and airport developments from conception to completion. Hikmat holds two master’s degrees. The first is in systems engineering, “Design, Industrialization, Risk & Decision,” from ENSAM ParisTech – France. The second master’s degree is in Architecture from the USEK – Lebanon.

Marios joined Parsons in 2013 and currently serves as the Program Director and Aviation Lead for Europe and the Middle East. Recognized as an inspiring leader in the aviation sector, he has a proven track record of successfully managing airport construction projects. Marios is a strong proponent of collaborative project management and new technologies, topics he frequently discusses at conferences and in press releases.

Ersin is Airport Technology Leader who has successfully led 22 airport projects from managing design, implementation, integration of systems and ORAT in Turkey, Tunisia, and the Middle East. This diversified path has allowed Ersin to develop a multi-disciplinary background and an ability to adapt and benefit from a variety of challenges mitigated and solutions created.

As the focal point of various IT, aviation systems and integration relating to interfaces between the airport and the airlines, Ersin has gained considerable knowledge, skills, and expertise in each field. His core competencies include people management, project and contractual management and IT solution design and delivery.

With 20 years of experience in the aviation business, he excels in strategic planning and leadership, enterprise-wide technology upgrade, project/program management, and change and release management.

Ersin has senior management functional responsibilities in integration project management, IT infrastructural design, special airport systems, risks, budget, strategy planning and 7/24 IT systems support and operation for a total of 22 airports before joining the Istanbul Airport Project with TAV Group.

In his previous role, Ersin was the Chief Digital and Commercial Officer at IGA Airports Holdings and an Executive Committee Member of which was the Master System Integrator (MSI) of New Istanbul Airport Project. The IST Systems led the ICT packages at the world’s largest airport project and prepared all needs for 25 years of operation.
